A deep desire to keep learning and contributing led to the founding of Heritage, History & Her, also known as 3H. This combines my academic learning and practical experience to produce content and experiences that make research findings accessible. My work brings findings and research to life through engagement, living history, theatrical development, interpretation and content creation. Inclusivity and diversity are the core of what I do, and each project is personalised to the client.
My content focuses on identity, the heritage sector, social and cultural history, and historical making. Its about sharing the complex ideas and nuanced understandings about the past with the public of today. I want everyone to be able to find history that appeals to them and represents their experiences. This is why I work in heritage, to bring history to life and to reach more people.
I’m deeply passionate about access and inclusion. The choice of ‘Her’ in Heritage, History & Her is to represent identity in all its forms and all these themes, including those of trans people. It is one complex identity to act as a spring board to explore more and how they interact as in Intersectional / Black Feminism. Where I lack lived experience of an identity, I strive to prioritise the voices of those who do with external links.
I remain a constant student, learning from others experiences and knowledge and welcome any chance to collaborate so don’t be scared to get in touch!
