A deep desire to keep learning and contributing led me to found Heritage, History & Her (3H), a business and website that combines my academic knowledge and practical experience to create content and experiences that make research findings accessible.
My work brings findings and research to life through engagement, living history, theatrical development, interpretation and content creation. Inclusivity and diversity are the core of what I do, and each project is personalised to the client.
My content focuses on identity, the heritage sector, social and cultural history, and historical making. It’s about sharing the complex ideas and nuanced understandings about the past with the public of today.

Often, the information you want to share relies on having a pre-existing awareness of how things work. By finding relatable connections and experiences with individuals, I can help you get across even the most complex of topics.
I’ve always loved historical dress, fascinated by how it changes over time and the influences behind that. Learning through making explores heritage skills and crafts, and what we can learn by trying them. It lets us relate to people in the past in a truly immersive way that highlights lived experience.
Interpretation is what brings history to life, its how the information gets from the experts (be that museum professionals or the community with lived experience) to the public in order to educate them and have them share in this knowledge.
It’s about creating a connection and showing why this story of a person long gone matters to us today. My work combines my skill in ‘translating’ complex information into recognisable terms and creative skills from my time as a Theatre Technician.
I’m a strong believer that improving access benefits everyone. I’ll work with you to ensure you’re representing and creating an inclusive environment for different marginalised groups and learning styles.
Research the hidden histories – using what you do have in your collection as a starting point to explore the lives they intersected with. This Gendering Approach naturally encourages consideration of intersectionality.

Heritage, History & Her (3H) was created to share my own experience and learnings with others. After completing a History degree, I realised that the heritage sector offered the project focus and opportunities that allowed me to share my passion for history. Gaining experience through an MA Heritage, I realised how to include my other passions such as accessibility and engagement in my work.
